GIGS IN THE '70s PART I

Deep Purple 1976.
The first gig I went to. Awesome !
David Coverdale - Vox, Tommy Bolin - Guitar,
Glen Hughes - Bass, Jon Lord - Keyboards
and
Ian Paice - Drums.

Genesis 1977.
Spectacular -
Phil Collins in great form with
Steve Hackett on guitar.

Bad Company 1977.
The Sound was superb - Tight .....!
Paul Rogers was the Best on Vox ever - and still is !
Mick Ralphs - Guitar, Boz Burrell - Bass
and
Simon Kirke - Drums.

Yes 1977.
Good gig, but not really my scene -
a bit 'light-weight'.

Wishbone Ash 1977.
Now we're talkin'
I went on my own to this one.
This is when a certain
'67 'V' entered my life.
Andy Powell and Laurie Wisefield on guitars,
Martin Turner - Bass and Steve Upton - Drums.
This concert was broadcast by the BBC on Radio 1
the next Saturday and I've got a recording that I still play.
I've also just found some Pix.

Great Gig !
