The Body Blank with the Centre Line and the position of the Pickup and Control Router Pattern marked.

The Router Pattern has been screwed in place with 2 screws - both on the Centre Line
One at the bridge postion, 24 3/4" from where the top nut will be and the other at where the 19th fret will be.

Ready to 'Rumbo' !

( No power to the router when the picture was taken.)

Routing to the 1st depth required, which is about 1/2" (12mm) to 3/4" (18mm) down over the whole area of the wood that needs to be removed.
To rout out the required depth using a 'non professional' small router it will  probably need to be done in 3 or 4  stage depths - about 3/16" (4.5 mm) at a time.
This doesn't put too much strain on the cutter or the motor.

( No power to the router when the picture was taken.)
