There are three projects that I have done, or am doing that would be suitable for this section and luckily I have quite a few pictures showing the process'.....
A
Royal DCS
"TV" Junior from 1982
This is a complete restoration.....
Stripping right down to bare wood and applying a finish that closely resembles
the original . Doing a re-fret, making new parts and generally getting the
guitar back to as close to original as possible.
A
Gibson White Flying V from 1975
This was a partial restoration.....
Re-plating all the hardware, making a new scratch-plate, plugging holes from
'old' hardware and blowing in a finish in small areas to match as closely as
possible the finish around it. (To be
continued later as well).
A Gibson Cherry
Flying V from 1967
This is a complete restoration.....Stripping
to the bare wood, plugging enlarged screw holes, doing a re-fret then applying a
similar finish to the original, re-plating all the hardware, some being renewed
and getting the guitar to pretty near the original condition.
