The 'Royal' Lorelei Headstock 1986.
The 'Royal' Lorelei 1986 - This Model was never completed - unfortunately. (No 'dot' either !)
A nice name, but a bit too 'soft'..... The
"Electra Mk I" came next & had the same headstock, but
the 'Royal' Logo
was thought to be too large,
so was reduced in size on all subsequent models after that..... The Electra Mk
II, The Medusa & The
Magenta which all had the 'reverse' type styling with
the machine heads 'underneath'.
The Magenta headstock design was taken to the
extreme and ended in a 'point' - 'other musicians on stage - Beware !' -
Keep
Stage Right !
The headstock pattern above was also used on
the 'X-plorer' Custom Models where the
'Royal' logo was smaller & further up the headstock ( See
'X-plorer' Custom )
MATERIALS
Hand cut Mother-of-Pearl inlayed into an Ebony Head-face on a Mahogany neck.

The Headstock was scanned at 150 dpi - so it looks a 'little ragged'.
( No enhancement used )
