A TASTY PIECE
A '94 Gibson
Firebird.
This one is far from original. She was originally sunburst and had 2 pickups.
By
a third party she has been re-sprayed, had a Maple veneer inserted on the front,
has 2 Seymour Duncans fitted, at some point... and had a Kent Armstrong pickup put
in the
middle position and has a Phase switch added.
(Unfortunately, the pickups were not put in straight, which is quite noticeable -
Hmmm !)
The tailpiece holes were also filled and a Badass type wrap-over bridge fitted...
which didn't actually fit.
I rewired her, fitted the Wilkinson Bridge and gave her a 'fretjob' and a set up.
Other than the previous problems, she is now actually a great instrument to
play.
