This is the only
Chimera made.
She was custom built for Darryl Page in
1989.
Mahogany body and neck, Ebony fingerboard
and head-face
Kahler 2300 Pro trem unit and Pro lock nut.
EMG 81/85 pickups.
Schaller Machines.
A unusually narrow top nut at 1 1/2" with
22 frets & 24 3/4" Scale length.
'Propeller' inlays on the fingerboard - some people call them "Bow ties".
The body is thin at 1 3/8".
The neck depth is 18mm at the top nut and 20mm at the 12th fret.
All the specs were specially made for Darryl who has been regularly gigging with
her for 17 years.
