These are two of my favorite 'Overdrive' type Pedals.
Boss DS-1
The DS-1
Distortion is the original and Basic Boss
Distortion unit that is now a 'Classic'.
It covers most 'bases' apart from 'Metal' - maybe.
Boss BD-2
The BD-2
Blues Driver is regarded as a very 'Versatile'
and moreover Classic 'Blues' pedal.
It covers a nice range of overdrive and low-ish gain distortion - to taste.
Essentially..... Blues
in a Box !
