In 2003 "Pinky", below, was bought by Bob Greaves
Bob
also has a matching Pink Electra Bass and a Black Electra Custom.

Bob has just sent me the photo above - she still looks in pretty good condition.

PINK ELECTRA

She was originally owned by Elmo McDonald who sold her to Bob in 2003.
Elmo sent me the two photos below.

There has been some damage to the top horn at some point in time - it's been touched in with 'odd' colours.)

This Guitar is a Pink Electra Mk II made in August 1988.
One piece
Mahogany Body, one piece Mahogany neck, bound Ebony Fingerboard
and head-face.
She has hand cut
Mother-of-Pearl 'V' inlays in the neck and Royal and Crown logos in the head-face.
Kahler Pro Trem and a pair of EMG pickups - 81 at the bridge and 85 at the neck.
Volume and Tone plus 3 way '
slot type' pickup selector switch.

With the now standardized Holes, Inlays and Hardware this guitar represented a
Standard Electra.

The rear view here shows more details of the holes, the comfort contour on the back and the specially designed stepped neck joint and heel for easy access to the top frets and also subtle carving of the volute.
